ARAGÓN EDIH Funding is a service of the Aragón EDIH that provides information on public funding calls aimed at companies, for the implementation of digitalisation projects.

Through this service you can find updated information on the latest open calls and on regional, national and European funding programmes on the thematic areas and key technologies of the AEDIH.

This service has an advisory team for companies that guides and advises on the most appropriate call according to the nature of each project.

What is being looked for?

Each accepted sub-project will have a duration of 12 months and will be divided into 3 phases: Design, Development and Commercialisation.

  • Innovative ideas that leverage drone technology and datasets to address real-world problems and create value for society in relation to the use of drone technology and associated datasets.
  • Drone hardware and software development: development of new hardware and software solutions to increase drone performance, extend flight time and improve data collection and analysis.
  • Data analysis and processing: development of new algorithms and techniques to process and analyse data collected by drones, such as image recognition, machine learning and artificial intelligence.
  • Drone-based services: development of new services using drone technology, such as aerial photography, surveying and inspection services.
  • Drone-based applications: development of new applications for drones, e.g. environmental monitoring, precision agriculture, disaster relief, infrastructure inspection, logistics and delivery, and security and surveillance.
  • Standards and regulations: development of new standards and regulations for safe and responsible use.
  • Safe and responsible use of drone technology, including privacy and security considerations.

Open Calls – ICAERUS

Type of financial support
  • 480,000 per project.

TARGET-X. Support for the integration of 5G and 6G for digitisation

TARGET-X is a project of the European Commission co-funded by the HORIZON EUROPE programme, coordinated by FRAUNHOFER Gesellschaft Zur Forderung Der Angewandten Forschung Ev, with the participation of 14 consortium partners from 6 different countries.

What is being looked for?

Digitalisation grants:

  • Perform performance testing or development of devices or solutions targeting technology providers and use cases applicable to a single topic in one of the following areas: Manufacturing, Energy, Automotive, Construction and other topics for the development of new devices/solutions, and another topic for evaluation with an evaluation methodological framework based on KPIs and KVI.   • Aim to achieve a TRL 7 during the Support Programme, preferably from a TRL 3-4 level. TARGET-X involves innovative European SMEs with a clear commercial ambition and potential for high growth and internationalisation.

It has an eligible period of 7 months.

INGENIOUS (Euroclusters)

The INGENIOUS Eurocluster supports Europe’s industry to achieve sovereignty, boost competitive sustainability, become the world’s first climate-neutral continent by 2050 and shape Europe’s digital future. INGENIOUS has a special focus on supporting SMEs, as they are the backbone of the economy, and will support them in new steps to build resilience and make the transition to a green and digital economy.

The INGENIOUS project serves as a lever for companies to implement highly innovative solutions for resilience and the transition towards a green and digital economy through three financial instruments: the Innovation Grant, the Training Grant and the Internationalisation Grant.

NGI Sargasso (Next Generation Internet -NGI)

Next Generation Internet (NGI) is a European Commission initiative that aims to shape the development and evolution of the Internet towards an Internet of Humans. An Internet that responds to people’s fundamental needs, including trust, security and inclusion, while reflecting the values and norms that all citizens enjoy in Europe.

NGI SARGASSO focuses on strengthening EU cooperation and strategic partnerships with the United States and Canada for the next generation internet. The project has been organised to support all internet innovators in areas such as trust and data sovereignty, open and trusted discovery and search, and internet architecture and decentralised technologies.

X 2.0-Driving Deep Tech Growth is an EU-funded deeptech growth programme that seeks to ensure the expansion of EU deeptech startups by providing customised, industry-focused, 5-month growth programmes that act as catalysts to deliver market-ready applications and technology solutions in 5 key impact areas: Manufacturing and Circular Economy, AgriTech, HealthTech and BioTech, Smart Cities and Sustainability, and Data and Artificial Intelligence.
